The Apron
The lambskin or white leather apron is the distinguishing badge of a Mason,
and is the first favour conferred upon the newly-initiated apprentice. It
is from fourteen to sixteen inches wide, and from twelve to fourteen deep,
with a fall about three to four inches deep, square at the bottom.
In the E. A. Degree it is plain, without ornament
In the F. C Degree it has the addition of two sky-blue rosettes at the bottom.
In the M. M. Degree it has an additional rosette on the fall, and has sky-blue
lining and edging, and silver tassels.
W. M. and P. M., instead of rosettes, wear perpendicular lines on horizontal
ones, forming three sets of two right angles.
